It's been awhile since I posted a journal. I wish I could post about something happier, but I need to get this out of my system. My dog Benny, Lhasa Apso, had to sadly be put down today. He was an old dog, either 16 or 17, and within the last two-three days he took a turn for the worse. He just wouldn't eat, kept on hacking, and was just listless. Honestly, I was just hoping he would just quietly pass on at home but it wasn't the case. It was hard. And though I am very much sad, I am glad he went to a better place. It just wouldn't be fair to him if we kept him living in discomfort. I take comfort knowing he is with my sister's dog Lady, Case
