I've been working on her for awhile.
Her story is really sad. One of the stories goes was that she was beautiful priestess for the Temple of Athena, and one day Poseidon entered the temple and raped her. In anger, Athena turned her into a hideous monster that she is now.
I did some research on the snakes, since I wanted to use snakes that are native to Greece, and found pictures of Vipera Ammodytes (Horned Viper). I've never really drew snakes before, but I think I did a good job.
